Scholarship Policies

• Please submit your scholarship application below and a $25 non-refundable deposit after submitting a class registration form. The deposit holds your space in a class. If you have an active scholarship application on file, submit the class registration form, deposit, and indicate your request for scholarship consideration via email.
• Scholarship applications are active for one calendar year (January – December). Applications must be received by Saltworks no later than two weeks prior to the start of classes.
• Scholarship amounts are based on the availability of designated funding. Partial scholarships range from 25% – 50% of the registration fee. We are unable to offer full scholarships at this time.
• Scholarship money will only be granted toward Fall and Spring classes, and the Summer Young Actor’s Studio. Scholarships toward Young Company Shows, workshops, or other special events will not be given.
• The scholarships are selected by a committee made up of Saltworks board members and the Executive Director. Applicants are considered according to financial need, prior history with Saltworks, effort shown in filling out the application, and overall amount given to a family.

when you submit your class registration form and scholarship application form.

You will be notified as to the outcome of your scholarship request two weeks prior to the start of class via email.
